Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation. Travelling north, you pass through some of the country’s best established commercial farmland and stop at quaint towns along the way, arriving at Anderson Gate by mid-afternoon.
Etosha National Park spans an area of 22,270 square kilometres (8,600 sq mi) and gets its name from the large Etosha pan which is almost entirely within the park. The Etosha pan (4,760 square kilometers (1,840 sq mi)) covers 23% of the area of the total area of the Etosha National Park. The park is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros.

A full day’s worth of game driving awaits and we leave early to enjoy the cool morning air, making our way to Halali camp, situated in the middle of the park. Along the way we visit several waterholes and are afforded splendid views of the massive Etosha Pan. The game viewing is excellent throughout the year and we have the chance to spot a few new species that are not normally seen on the Okaukuejo side of the park. After are very exciting game drive we than stop at Halali for our lunch break and guest can use the swimming pool to cool down, before we continue on the afternoon activity to view more game.
